1970s TWA Stewardess Polyester Scarf

£15.00

This scarf is beautifully decorated with scenes at JFK airport, of people embarking on flights, pilots in conversation, and notable aircraft, including the Lindbergh line ‘Sky Sleeper’ and a Boeing 727. It formed part of a Stewardess uniform worn between 1974-78 for Trans World Airlines (TWA), designed by American fashion designer, Stan Herman. It measures approximately 66 x 67 cm. It is made from Polyester. It is in fairly good condition but there is an area on one edge where the stitching has come loose and there are a few marks and small stains. There is one larger stain but it blends in well somehow. Please see all photos. A great piece of collectable airline memorabilia.
