Top opening Cigarette Tin
I love the quirkiness of this tank-shaped (to me at least!) top-opening cigarette box. Along with it’s unusual shape, it has a striking pattern that feels influenced by both Greek & North African motifs. It is in fact British made by 6MB and is most likely a 40s or 50s tin. It comes with some wear from previous use and some damage-namely a scratch on top and some surface wear and loss. Inside, it is black. There are some rusted patches. Please see all photographs.
It measures approx 12 x 9 x 5.5 cm.
