1980s Tony Wood Clown Teapot

£15.00

You’ve gotta love a novelty teapot! Actually, there are not many that I do like and you will rarely find one on these pages, but for this one I will make an exception! It’s adorable (and maybe a bit creepy!) I think the subtle colouring and marks are nicely done and I can imagine this clown happily residing in a vintage inspired kitchen, bringing even more cheer to the joyous ceremony that it ‘taking tea’ (which I do about 8 times a day-this website is fuelled by tea leaves I tell you! Soya milk, one brown sugar)

Could you give him a loving home?

A 1980s design I believe-somewhat less forlorn than pierrot. From the king of novelty teapots. Tony Wood. Measures approx 19 x 17 x 13 cm. Looks like it holds a decent mug and a half maybe.
