Child's 'The Wombles' Hankie
I love a child’s hankie. Thankfully, I don’t think they get used much-kids prefer sleeves! This one depicts The Wombles taking a well-earned break from their tireless environmental campaign work, to play their own version of golf with some collected walking sticks. This cotton printed square belonged to one Alaina Hill -I can tell you that because she wrote her name all over the handkerchief! It’s on their 4 times in fading ink. I have no idea if it would wash out but personally, I find it an excellent addition! It really adds to the joy as far as I’m concerned.
Measures 27 cm square. It has one tiny-bit-scrappy corner.
